With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Sachs in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fülöp Magos saved TUSE from getting behind. In the 28th minute of the match, Krisztián Bartha tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tommy Kahn saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Fülöp Magos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 30th minute of play. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Krisztián Bartha sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. In the 42nd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Schiele to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Krisztián Bartha tried to sneak it across the goal line. 4-0 became the score in the 47th minute when Krisztián Bartha elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Krisztián Bartha was the one to do the kick off. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertold Gyurkovics in the 57th minute of play. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krisztián Bartha, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. When Krisztián Bartha came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the TUSE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Krisztián Bartha couldn't finish the play. Fülöp Magos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 76th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Germany's Sven Krakouer got a free kick in the 80th minute. TUSE made a substitution. Kálmán Barna replaced János Kutasi. Ferenc Szőllőssy didn't quite understand what happened when in the 83 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krisztián Bartha in the 86th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. TUSE's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ferenc Szőllőssy in the 87th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Germany's goalie and right to Willi Orbán. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Germany's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 88th minute Willi Orbán shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Frank Sachs. After 90 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. After having played for 92 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krisztián Bartha in the 94th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. TUSE had won after a very even match.
