After a rather tough play, Gloucester City AFC's Sven Byström got a free kick in the 16th minute. Alvito Helguera's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Danny Jumel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Larpe Cabrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Åke Petersson in the 22nd minute of play. In the 26th minute Wes Carragher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Larpe Cabrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 minutes Nueva Adalucia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edvin Tinglöv who took care of the corner kick. In the 29th match minute, Nueva Adalucia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvito Helguera to maneuver through the defense. When Juvenal Soler fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nueva Adalucia's protests and gave Juvenal Soler a yellow card for diving instead. Juvenal Soler kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Gloucester City AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kristopher Le Saux was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nueva Adalucia's Larpe Cabrera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Nueva Adalucia from getting a goal against them. In the 81st minute Kristopher Le Saux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Larpe Cabrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Gloucester City AFC's Erik Puja sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Larpe Cabrera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alvito Helguera's late challenge caught a Gloucester City AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
