Mataderos's goalkeeper Danilo Abeitia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Faustino Llin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Khalid Kennedy. England's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Faustino Llin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Khalid Kennedy made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Faustino Llin sent off a good shot on target. Khalid Kennedy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Salomone, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kyle Cox to make the kick off. When Ramiro Bautista fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sp. Mataderos's protests and gave Ramiro Bautista a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of England booed when Sp. Mataderos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Bautista didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Sp. Mataderos's Anier Barbosa got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Micah Macdonald took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Danilo Abeitia. Sp. Mataderos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sp. Mataderos's zone, Micah Macdonald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Abeitia came out of the goal and Micah Macdonald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Salomone in the 57th minute of play forced England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Seth Young hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute Faustino Llin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th match minute, England was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eddie Willis to maneuver through the defense. Mataderos's Leandro Lobo made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Khalid Kennedy was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sp. Mataderos's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
