Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Frank Sachs kicked off to start the match. After 7 minutes of play, Germany's Frank Sachs made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After 20 minutes, Albin Holweck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the Sporting Burgas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th minute, Albin Holweck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute of the match, Cedro Pantoja got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tommy Kahn was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 32nd minute Albin Holweck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Perpiñán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Germany were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Sporting Burgas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Frank Sachs took the corner. Thanks to some nice moves Vintilă Ghițulescu could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Tommy Kahn however easily saved by the left post. 39 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Davor Šuker came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44th play minutes Davor Šuker shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Tommy Kahn and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 48th minute, Albin Holweck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Davor Šuker was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Sporting Burgas booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janik Vogt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davor Šuker in the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Holweck in the 66th minute of play forced Sporting Burgas's goalkeeper Álvaro Perpiñán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cedro Pantoja in the 67th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Sporting Burgas booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davor Šuker in the 72nd minute of play. Sporting Burgas were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Davor Šuker took the corner. The corner led Sporting Burgas's Davor Šuker to fire away a dangerous shot which Tommy Kahn despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cedro Pantoja in the 75th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 79th minute of play forced Sporting Burgas's goalkeeper Álvaro Perpiñán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sporting Burgas's Álvaro Perpiñán proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Burgas from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd minute Albin Holweck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Perpiñán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Álvaro Perpiñán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Holweck in the 82nd minute of play. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute Ke Xiong Chen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davor Šuker in the 95th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sporting Burgas fully deserved thier win.
