The Portugal fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Portugal's Viriato Moura looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luizão Castro in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guilherme Zanette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute.
