Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Adam Olaru got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th minute Eusebio Fernendo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carol Stinga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adam Olaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Podgoreanu having to interfere. Natalio Guter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carol Stinga having to interfere. Emanuel Podgoreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costica Vladimiri, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After a rather tough play, Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Ricardo Bochini got a free kick in the 19th minute. After having played for 20 minutes, Adam Olaru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Romania's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adam Olaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Eusebio Fernendo got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Emanuel Podgoreanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Costica Vladimiri's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. In the 31st minute, Gustavo Tartalo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carol Stinga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Fernendo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horácio Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Emanuel Podgoreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Olaru in the 42nd minute of play. Natalio Guter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Carol Stinga made a huge save. Romania's Rasvan Cristescu got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emanuel Podgoreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Olaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Horácio Garcia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sanda Cutov kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Romania's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gustavo Tartalo took the corner. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Eliseo Abechuco was substituted for Horácio Garcia. After 61 minutes Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. In the 66th minute Eliseo Abechuco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carol Stinga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Romania's Anton Stinga ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emanuel Podgoreanu. Emanuel Podgoreanu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Romania's Alexandru Pangratiu was substituted for Alex Serban. In the 75th minute Hipolito Misael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carol Stinga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th match minute, Acercate Y Patea de Lejos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Guter to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Podgoreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Stinga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sanda Cutov was slow to take the kick. During this time Romania's players had a chance to rest. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliseo Abechuco in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carol Stinga saved Romania from getting behind. The supporters of Acercate Y Patea de Lejos booed when Romania was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavian Vaduva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carol Stinga came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Hipolito Misael. But to his dismay, Hipolito Misael quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Carol Stinga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosendo Gervaso, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Romania's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Acercate Y Patea de Lejos had won, even though Romania had held more of the ball.
