Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) D.P.Aarburg's Valentin Bujor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 10th minute of play. Valentin Bujor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by D.P.Aarburg's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Netherlands's Egbert Nijveldt getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 21st minute, Leal Castilho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Bujor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Netherlands's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave D.P.Aarburg the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of Netherlands:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of D.P.Aarburg:s goal. The goalkeeper, Arnout Reekers, was totally fooled by D.P.Aarburg's Nicu Ilieș, who 40 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Peralta to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Mathijn Doctor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Netherlands's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave D.P.Aarburg the free kick. In the 52nd minute there was a penalty for D.P.Aarburg. Nicu Ilieș stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Arnout Reekers. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Navarro in the 61st minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Rafael Navarro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The D.P.Aarburg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 68th match minute, D.P.Aarburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leal Castilho to maneuver through the defense. Many of Netherlands's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Netherlands may have spent more time on the ball, but D.P.Aarburg were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
