Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Garanhão do SUL's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Frasca came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 13 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Costa came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amado Vigário. In the 29th minute, Fábio Lobato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd match minute, Garanhão do SUL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Vigário to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amado Vigário in the 35th minute. Michal Kaczanka's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Tommy Kahn skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 38th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Krakouer to maneuver through the defense. João Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Amado Vigário received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tommy Kahn came out and tried to block the shot, but Amado Vigário slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Frank Sachs made the kick off in the second half. Garanhão do SUL's Alex Frasca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Garanhão do SUL from getting a goal against them. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Costa in the 53rd minute of the match. After 54 minutes Germany's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cassiano Telinhos who took care of the corner kick. Alex Frasca made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 59th minute. Alex Frasca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Holweck in the 64th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Frank Sachs cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Alex Frasca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Garanhão do SUL made a substitution. Salvador Lousada replaced Aloísio Garcez. In the 74th minute, Garanhão do SUL's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Frank Sachs fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Garanhão do SUL's Alex Frasca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Garanhão do SUL from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Edgar Costa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Frank Sachs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Alex Frasca made a huge save. Alex Frasca made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. When Albin Holweck came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albin Holweck couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute Edgar Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Sachs kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Garanhão do SUL's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Albin Holweck scored to the left of an out of position Alex Frasca, making the score, 1-2.
