If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Antal Valentin put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Emil Cvitanović. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind MKS Maczka's goalkeeper Emil Cvitanović, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Eugeniusz Kolbert sent off a good shot on target. When Antal Valentin came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 30 in the game by Eugeniusz Kolbert from a close distance when the talented Fodor Daniel managed to make a qualified save. Hungary's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 33rd minute of play forced MKS Maczka's goalkeeper Emil Cvitanović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Hungary booed when MKS Maczka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dariusz Biegun didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, MKS Maczka's Emil Cvitanović got control of the ball when Takacs Tibor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fodor Daniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Eugeniusz Kolbert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Szekeres Tamas made in the 83rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Takacs Tibor however managed to control. In the 87th minute, Szekeres Tamas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MKS Maczka's Eugeniusz Kolbert got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
