The audience was convinced that Edward Vanderstraeten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kęstutis Raziulis was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Belgium's Casper Claes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Belgium from getting a goal against them. Kęstutis Raziulis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 23rd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kęstutis Raziulis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kęstutis Raziulis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 31st minute of play. Edward Vanderstraeten scored 1-3 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kęstutis Raziulis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rio Arinos's Kęstutis Raziulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 37th minute of play. Kęstutis Raziulis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yves Dervaux in the 39th minute of the match. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kęstutis Raziulis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodolfo Paiva made a kick off. In the 55th minute Rio Arinos were awarded a corner. Liu Yang Feng went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Rio Arinos's Liu Yang Feng to fire away a dangerous shot which Casper Claes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Rio Arinos's Rodolfo Paiva got a free kick in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liu Yang Feng in the 60th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liu Yang Feng in the 60th minute of play. Duda Sarmento hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Kęstutis Raziulis in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kęstutis Raziulis made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Paiva in the 89th minute of play. The throw-in from Duda Sarmento in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Belgium's Sander Dermaut. Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kęstutis Raziulis having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Rodolfo Paiva made a precise shot to the right of Casper Claes. Belgium's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4.
