Siricio Liotta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bona Dios having to interfere. Bona Dios stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zaccheo Andolina's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Julián Camino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Flavio Vittori made a huge save. 38 minutes into the match, Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anacleto Soin. Zena Busacca hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After 45 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Zena Busacca. Pang Jing Peng struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Flavio Vittori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 【E ➣ Don Bosco Cosquín. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zaccheo Andolina to make the kick off.
