Tommy Kahn was a little too slow when Bratan Rogev got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. Frank Sachs hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute, Bratan Rogev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 25th minute of play forced FC Bansko's goalkeeper Dimitar Vetzov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Bansko's Dimitar Vetzov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 27th minute of play. If Hristiyan Karaleev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 32nd minute, Bratan Rogev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Bansko fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 36 minutes into the match, FC Bansko's Toma Matkov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Avgustin Lúskov put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. A collision led to FC Bansko getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Bratan Rogev hit a great ball. When Albin Holweck fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Albin Holweck a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Holweck to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bratan Rogev, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Avgustin Lúskov to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Malte Schiele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albin Holweck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dimitar Vetzov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of Germany booed when FC Bansko was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Slavcho Peychinov didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bratan Rogev in the 69th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 70 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Linus Schwerner. FC Bansko made a substitution. Albert Momkov replaced Slavcho Peychinov. Linus Schwerner hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Ivan Toromanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toma Matkov in the 76th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitar Vetzov having to interfere. FC Bansko made a substitution. Kuncho Glavchev replaced Avgustin Lúskov. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Dimitar Vetzov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kuncho Glavchev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. In the 89th minute Kuncho Glavchev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Sven Krakouer hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Bansko had played much better football throughout.
