Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Cesario having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mateo Messi. After 10 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Boros Benedek. Mateo Messi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. Venancio Cesario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 16th minute of play. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Poncio, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Yofré AFC's Venancio Cesario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Hungary booed when Yofré AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamílton de Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venancio Cesario stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antal Valentin's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Esteban Ostargi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Poncio in the 39th minute of the match. When Yofré AFC's Mateo Messi in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hungary's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Ernesto Poncio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Ernesto Poncio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Ernesto Poncio scored 1-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fodor Daniel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd minute of the match, Major Barna got a very nice opportunity to score, but Venancio Cesario was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Yofré AFC's Venancio Cesario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Yofré AFC from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Major Barna took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Venancio Cesario to make any attempt to save it. Antal Valentin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Venancio Cesario having to make a save. After 67 played minutes Yofré AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Poncio. Yofré AFC's Venancio Cesario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Yofré AFC from getting a goal against them. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Yofré AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Antal Valentin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Venancio Cesario quite easily take care of the ball. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Cesario having to interfere. Yofré AFC made a substitution. Blas Blasi replaced Melchor Quintyn. Takacs Tibor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yofré AFC's Matias Preto was substituted for Ernesto Poncio. 88 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Messi came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Hungary players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
