Matheus Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Vavrinec Holub tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Juvenil Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Walmyr Almeida. Denis Dostal scored 0-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sandrinho Quintal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 36 minutes into the game, Czech Republic's Erik Jilek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sandrinho Quintal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. With a little luck, Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub got control of the ball when Edson Silva tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 45 minutes of play, Juvenil Sport Club's Edson Silva made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vavrinec Holub was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Vavrinec Holub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edson Silva in the 74th minute of the match. Walmyr Almeida hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After 79 minutes, Matheus Veiga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juvenil Sport Club and the Czech Republic players grew even worse after the yellow card.
