Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Buitenhout FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ted Fokkelman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tudor Mihoc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 8th minute of play forced Buitenhout FC's goalkeeper Tudor Mihoc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Buitenhout FC's Yorrick Hekman got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Lars Meesters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustaaf Groeneveldt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tudor Mihoc having to make a save. In the 22nd minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yorrick Hekman, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 26th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaaf Groeneveldt to maneuver through the defense. When Buitenhout FC's Ferry Hebels in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Netherlands's goalie prevented a goal. In the 34th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Buitenhout FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 40 minutes Buitenhout FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. Lars Meesters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tudor Mihoc having to interfere. After 45 minutes Buitenhout FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferry Hebels in the 53rd minute of play. Wim Wilmes scored 0-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tudor Mihoc, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 72 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tudor Mihoc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tudor Mihoc was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 76 minute of play. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yorrick Hekman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Netherlands's zone, Yorrick Hekman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal and Yorrick Hekman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wim Wilmes came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tudor Mihoc could save by the left post. Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Buitenhout FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherlands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
