In the 3rd minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldinho Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Casper Claes managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when Facopo FBPA's Cheng Ling Yang fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Belgium's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pedro Requena was slow to take the kick. During this time Facopo FBPA's players had a chance to rest. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edward Vanderstraeten in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osvaldinho Moreno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Casper Claes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristóvão Mattos in the 17th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristóvão Mattos. Osvaldinho Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 20th minute of play. Osvaldinho Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yves Dervaux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Edward Vanderstraeten put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Osvaldinho Moreno. Filip Slipetskyi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Casper Claes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Facopo FBPA were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Belgium's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pedro Requena took the corner. Edward Vanderstraeten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Osvaldinho Moreno having to make a save. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristóvão Mattos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Yves Dervaux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Facopo FBPA's Aloísio Munhoz got a free kick in the 36th minute. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Osvaldinho Moreno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristóvão Mattos got free with Casper Claes in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Samuel Bastos made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Belgium getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Nigel Devos hit a great ball. Casper Claes came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Facopo FBPA's Samuel Bastos. But to his dismay, Samuel Bastos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 59 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Mattos came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute Yves Dervaux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldinho Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Bastos took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Casper Claes. Casper Claes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Yves Dervaux struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Osvaldinho Moreno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgium. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristóvão Mattos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laurens Vandamme kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 74th minute Cristóvão Mattos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Facopo FBPA's Samuel Bastos fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yves Dervaux in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osvaldinho Moreno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 86th minute of the match Belgium got a corner. Facopo FBPA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Vanderstraeten ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Belgium's Simon Sabbe to a score. 3-2 in the 86th minute. Hendrik-Jan De Muysere made in the 89th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ali Kürşat Muhlis. 94 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Bastos came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Belgium booed when Facopo FBPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hendrik-Jan De Muysere didn't get a good kick on the ball. Facopo FBPA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
