A very good chance for a goal. 8 minutes into the match, Slovakia's Metod Mlynar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leopoldo Galtero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leopoldo Galtero came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Slovakia's Metod Mlynar. But to his dismay, Metod Mlynar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Leopoldo Galtero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Metod Mlynar in the 32nd minute of play. Gustavo Polo hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Inter de Urquiza's Tadeo Eguen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kornel Jahoda, made in the 37th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Metod Mlynar in the 42nd minute of play forced Inter de Urquiza's goalkeeper Leopoldo Galtero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Metod Mlynar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Vavrinec Koleno got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Metod Mlynar to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Metod Mlynar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Slovakia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Leopoldo Galtero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Holub in the 57th minute of play. A hard shot 90 in the game by Metod Mlynar from a close distance when the talented Leopoldo Galtero managed to make a qualified save. Inter de Urquiza's players were relieved. In the 94th minute, Alejo Efraim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Slovakia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
