Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kraig Fred kicked off to start the match. Marcos Ranolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rasvan Cristescu in the 14th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Kraig Fred's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carol Stinga was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Marcos Ranolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Olaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Romania's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adam Olaru in the 17th minute. Adam Olaru scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Ranolfo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcos Ranolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Olaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Marcos Ranolfo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adam Olaru's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute Romania were awarded a corner. Adam Olaru went to the cornerflag to take it. Adam Olaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Ranolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Serban in the 40th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adam Olaru in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Ranolfo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Romania's Rasvan Cristescu got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 46th match minute, Estudiantes de América was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Van Der Veecken to maneuver through the defense. Costica Vladimiri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Marcos Ranolfo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adam Olaru to make the kick off. Marcos Ranolfo came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Romania's Costica Vladimiri. But to his dismay, Costica Vladimiri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Estudiantes de América made a substitution. Concetto Trasatti replaced Kraig Fred. Estudiantes de América's Orlando Beltza was substituted for Cornelio Ruisko. Romania made a substitution. Octavian Vaduva replaced Costica Vladimiri. After a rather tough play, Estudiantes de América's Maximo Dei got a free kick in the 67th minute. Rasvan Cristescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Ranolfo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Marcos Ranolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandru Pangratiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Concetto Trasatti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute Maximo Dei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carol Stinga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carol Stinga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Beltza in the 79th minute of play. In the 85th minute Sanda Cutov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Ranolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Romania's Alexandru Pangratiu got a free kick in the 86th minute. Romania's Carol Stinga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Beltza in the 86th minute of play. Anton Stinga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Marcos Ranolfo made a huge save. Orlando Beltza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carol Stinga having to interfere. Rasvan Cristescu kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Estudiantes de América's Traian Blăniță got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Estudiantes de América getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Leon Dzierwa hit a great ball. Anton Stinga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Ranolfo having to interfere.
