Flavio Vittori made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kjell Alsvik in the 5th minute. Fred Bonk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 7th minute of play. Flavio Vittori was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kjell Alsvik showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fred Bonk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fred Bonk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Tolga Şakib blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavio Vittori having to make a save. A collision led to Kjønstad BF getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Rasmus Moland hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the game, Zaccheo Andolina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Fred Bonk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kjell Alsvik took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavio Vittori. Flavio Vittori dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell Alsvik in the 39th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell Alsvik came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Italy! When the match had been going on for 45 minutes, Kjønstad BF's Kjell Alsvik got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Flavio Vittori.

The wind increased when Kjell Alsvik made the kick off in the second half. Kjell Alsvik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Flavio Vittori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell Alsvik in the 65th minute of play. After some careless play in the Italy defense, Kjell Alsvik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavio Vittori. The Italy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavio Vittori should have stopped the shot. Kjønstad BF's Edmílson Prata was substituted for Rene Egoitz. Kjønstad BF made a substitution. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell Alsvik in the 74th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell Alsvik, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute.
