Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Italy's Zaccheo Andolina started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Huckebein's goal looked a bit too open when Sigfrido Auletta came free, but Apolo Santxol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute Einar Kullander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Bibiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Apolo Santxol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siricio Liotta in the 15th minute of play forced Huckebein's goalkeeper Apolo Santxol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Apolo Santxol came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Italy's Zaccheo Andolina. But to his dismay, Zaccheo Andolina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marin Jumancă to make the kick off. Sigfrido Auletta who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Apolo Santxol when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Apolo Santxol made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Zaccheo Andolina sent off a good shot on target. Apolo Santxol acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 63rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gianpaolo Mascari. When Italy's Zaccheo Andolina in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Huckebein's goalie prevented a goal. In the 66th match minute, Huckebein was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucjan Kendra to maneuver through the defense. Apolo Santxol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Huckebein's goalkeeper Apolo Santxol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sigfrido Auletta. Huckebein's Apolo Santxol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Marin Jumancă had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Flavio Vittori. Italy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marin Jumancă was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. A collision led to Huckebein getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Everardo Presebal hit a great ball. Apolo Santxol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guiscardo Davide in the 92nd minute. 95 minutes into the game, Adriano Curto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Apolo Santxol. Adriano Curto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. The Italy supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Italy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
