In the 19th minute of the match E L C O K O F C ® E V G ® got a corner. Spain's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Berdoi Abaurre ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s Zdzislaw Lichniak got a free kick in the 20th minute. If Radamel-Falcao García had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gabriel Ascaso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radamel-Falcao García in the 22nd minute. E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s Lucas Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Aranda in the 25th minute of play. Adria Bielsa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 played minutes Spain got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Criado. 35 minutes into the match, Olivier Ancel notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Spain's Gabriel Ascaso. Gabriel Ascaso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Spain's Omar Toledo got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucas Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adria Bielsa, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Lucas Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adria Bielsa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Zdzislaw Lichniak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Ascaso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radamel-Falcao García, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Olivier Ancel in the 53rd minute of play forced Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Yiğit Uyar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Spain's Gabriel Ascaso did a great save. Gabriel Ascaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olivier Ancel in the 72nd minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Spain's goal looked a bit too open when Radamel-Falcao García came free, but Gabriel Ascaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77thth minute of the game Omar Toledo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s Lucas Duarte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Spain's Pau Herrero was substituted for David Aranda. Spain made a substitution. Carles Cherro replaced Omar Toledo. Spain's Sergio Ruiz was substituted for Adria Bielsa. E L C O K O F C ® E V G ® made a substitution. Cyprian Kowalski replaced Liu Feng Zhen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Ruiz in the 89th minute of play forced E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s goalkeeper Lucas Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pau Herrero in the 91st minute of the match. Sergio Ruiz might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucas Duarte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sergio Ruiz ran back to his position shaking his head. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game.
