With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aníbal Lorenzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 28 minutes into the match, The Team FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Aníbal Lorenzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aníbal Lorenzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aníbal Lorenzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lenny Clocheret in the 38th minute of the match. Casper Claes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cao Shi Yi in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the game, one of Belgium:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Belgium:s Casper Claes showed great skill when he stopped Cao Shi Yi:s penalty. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Team FC's goalkeeper Aníbal Lorenzi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Edward Vanderstraeten made the kick off in the second half.
