Ψ virgen Ψ's Pepillo Santandres managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jorginho Quirino in the 2 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Ahlroth in the 4th minute of play forced America Futebol Clube SP's goalkeeper Stefan Rasiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, America Futebol Clube SP's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Pisculichi came free, but Stefan Rasiak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute, Fabiano Monteiro fired a really elegant long shot, but Antonio Sengrat threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Stefan Rasiak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Pisculichi in the 9th minute of the match. Antonio Sengrat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iago Bala in the 11th minute. Zézinho Costa had several of the Ψ virgen Ψ's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 11 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Antonio Sengrat as he didn't even see the shot coming. Antonio Sengrat was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Zézinho Costa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zézinho Costa really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iago Bala got free with Antonio Sengrat in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. America Futebol Clube SP's Stefan Rasiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Ahlroth in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, America Futebol Clube SP's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Ahlroth came free, but Stefan Rasiak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zézinho Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Antonio Sengrat made a huge save. 30 minutes into the game, America Futebol Clube SP's Zézinho Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antonio Sengrat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Tadeu Xavier hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Stefan Rasiak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonardo Pisculichi went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Maksymilian Sobczak struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Antonio Sengrat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for America Futebol Clube SP. Fabiano Monteiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Antonio Sengrat made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zézinho Costa to make the kick off. Antonio Sengrat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zézinho Costa in the 52nd minute of the match. Leonardo Pisculichi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stefan Rasiak having to make a save. Stefan Rasiak made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Leonardo Pisculichi sent off a good shot on target. Antonio Sengrat came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by America Futebol Clube SP's Fabiano Monteiro. But to his dismay, Fabiano Monteiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. America Futebol Clube SP made a substitution. Dreas Jamieson replaced Iago Bala. Antonio Sengrat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano Monteiro in the 81st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Serginho Chulapa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antonio Sengrat was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. A collision led to Ψ virgen Ψ getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Aggelos Troglis hit a great ball. Antonio Sengrat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Ψ virgen Ψ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
