Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcu Bobe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leopoldo Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 27th minute, Chris Mergenthaler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albin Holweck blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Serafim Neiva having to make a save. In the 35th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willy Stieler to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 38th minute. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Marcu Bobe took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Tommy Kahn to make any attempt to save it. Willy Stieler charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Willy Stieler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leopoldo Trigo made a kick off. The supporters of Germany booed when Flamengo CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emerson Fittipaldi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Germany's Frank Sachs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serafim Neiva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Germany booed when Flamengo CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando de Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leopoldo Trigo went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Frank Sachs was extremely unlucky when he, in the 82nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The Flamengo CIMZ fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Flamengo CIMZ's Leopoldo Trigo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 94 minutes into the game, Flamengo CIMZ's Marcu Bobe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Germany players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Flamengo CIMZ.
