Diego Ribas was slow to take the kick. During this time México Eterno MZC's players had a chance to rest. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Markham FC's goalkeeper Bektaş Veli Tokuz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Dito Guedes came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the México Eterno MZC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dito Guedes couldn't finish the play. Bektaş Veli Tokuz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Zonta, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Bektaş Veli Tokuz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Zonta in the 16th minute of the match. Terrell Zuniga charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Terrell Zuniga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of México Eterno MZC booed when Markham FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Terrell Zuniga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bektaş Veli Tokuz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Zonta in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Zonta in the 26th minute of play forced Markham FC's goalkeeper Bektaş Veli Tokuz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 played minutes Markham FC got a freekick which was hit by Russell Garrett. 33 minutes into the game, Bartolo Urtzi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jailson Aparecido was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 40 minutes of play, México Eterno MZC's Alfredo Zonta made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bektaş Veli Tokuz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 47th minute, Reynaldo Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredo Zonta to make the kick off. Alfredo Zonta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Bektaş Veli Tokuz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Markham FC's Bektaş Veli Tokuz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Zonta in the 57th minute of play. After 66 played minutes Markham FC got a freekick which was hit by Russell Garrett. In the 68th minute, Russell Garrett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th match minute, México Eterno MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Talló to maneuver through the defense. After 76 played minutes México Eterno MZC got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Talló. In the 79th minute of the match, Richart Richardsson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bektaş Veli Tokuz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 86 minutes into the match, México Eterno MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Wesley Driscoll came free, but Jailson Aparecido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bektaş Veli Tokuz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richart Richardsson in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Lucas Hulk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. México Eterno MZC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
