Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tory Pryor took the kick off in the first half of the match. Italy's Zaccheo Andolina got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Italy's Flavio Vittori got control of the ball when Tory Pryor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tory Pryor in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes in the game Philipp Santagapita did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Pirmin Jäggi. Lionel Paly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The audience was convinced that Zaccheo Andolina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lionel Paly was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 14thth minute of the game Zaccheo Andolina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Wil 1900's Lionel Paly was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lionel Paly came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Italy's Zaccheo Andolina. But to his dismay, Zaccheo Andolina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 24 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Lionel Paly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lionel Paly didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zaccheo Andolina went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 28th minute of the match Italy got a corner. FC Wil 1900's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sigfrido Auletta ran over to the corner to take the kick. 29 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lionel Paly narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sigfrido Auletta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Lionel Paly tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo Rosa in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lionel Paly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Téo Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Lionel Paly, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Téo Rosa in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Vittori prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The FC Wil 1900 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Italy were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zaccheo Andolina was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zaccheo Andolina got free with Lionel Paly in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Friedrich Nietzsche made in the 54th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Georges Gladu. 56 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lionel Paly narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Téo Rosa came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Friedrich Nietzsche fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Wil 1900's protests and gave Friedrich Nietzsche a yellow card for diving instead. After 67 played minutes FC Wil 1900 got a freekick which was hit by Friedrich Nietzsche. Lionel Paly made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute of the match Italy got a corner. FC Wil 1900's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sigfrido Auletta ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Sigfrido Auletta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Wil 1900's Lionel Paly did a great save. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pirmin Jäggi in the 72nd minute of play. In the 76th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lionel Paly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Georges Gladu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Italy's Siricio Liotta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Lionel Paly was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Zaccheo Andolina capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zaccheo Andolina really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy made a substitution. Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. 87 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Lionel Paly had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adriano Curto. Adriano Curto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Adriano Curto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lionel Paly. FC Wil 1900's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adriano Curto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Italy played a much better game than FC Wil 1900 and deserved their victory. The FC Wil 1900 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
