A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Caetano Moreira hit a great ball. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Coronel Castro in the 11th minute of the match. Coronel Castros short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Wilson Amorim to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 14th minute Froilan Reyes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16th play minutes Froilan Reyes shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Wilson Amorim and just under the crossbar into goal. Luis Täger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Bartolomeu Dias received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luis Täger came out and tried to block the shot, but Bartolomeu Dias slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 91st minute. Luis Täger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felipinho Amorim's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Rogelio Mendiola struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Parque Europa FC.
