When Deportivo Pergamino's Rolando Cidro, in the 15th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Pergamino. With a little luck, Deportivo Pergamino's Roberto Bonano got control of the ball when Ottó Fejes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 19 minutes Deportivo Pergamino's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Paulo Fallabes who took care of the corner kick. Paulo Fallabes made a great header on Monitor Huáscar's corner, it was just that Deportivo Pergamino's Roberto Bonano managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Carabajo in the 23rd minute of play forced Deportivo Pergamino's goalkeeper Roberto Bonano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Ottó Fejes made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Nunez Oroitz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Apostol Sokolov. The goal made the score 1-2. Nunez Arnas thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Roberto Bonano, a very annoying self made goal in the 60th minute which led to 2-2. Apostol Sokolov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nunez Oroitz in the 63rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Pergamino's zone, Ottó Fejes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Bonano came out of the goal and Ottó Fejes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Deportivo Pergamino made a substitution. Kang Li replaced Rolando Cidro. Deportivo Pergamino's Natalio Lon was substituted for Anthony Tiberio. Monitor Huáscar's Chiquito Rico was substituted for Ottó Fejes. Apostol Sokolov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Jerardo in the 70th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game was made by Gustavo Che with Cesar Egun as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 76th minute Kang Li shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apostol Sokolov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pergamino's goal looked a bit too open when Chiquito Rico came free, but Roberto Bonano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87thth minute of the game Carolo Jerardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monitor Huáscar's Apostol Sokolov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 88 minutes, Carolo Jerardo made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Monitor Huáscar's Apostol Sokolov tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 96 minutes into the game, Monitor Huáscar's Chiquito Rico nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roberto Bonano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Deportivo Pergamino were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
