If Jonas Nalder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Fabio Schneider reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hector Guedes. The goal made the score 1-3. With a little luck, Desportivo da Huíla's Hector Guedes got control of the ball when Marvin Harrer tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Austria eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
