Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Hortêncio Zamora started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Hector Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Metod Mlynar in the 5th minute of the match. After 12 played minutes Desportivo da Huíla got a freekick which was hit by Hipólito Cruz. In the 15th minute, Jorge Ericeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delmano Correia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henrich Slany having to make a save. In the 20th match minute, Slovakia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Holub to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Desportivo da Huíla's goal looked a bit too open when Metod Mlynar came free, but Hector Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Metod Mlynar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The throw-in from Jorge Ericeira in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Slovakia's Zigmund Maliar. After 32 minutes, Metod Mlynar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Slovakia and the Desportivo da Huíla players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Desportivo da Huíla booed when Slovakia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Metod Mlynar didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hortêncio Zamora got free with Henrich Slany in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Slovakia's Henrich Slany got control of the ball when Hortêncio Zamora tried to sneak it across the goal line. Desportivo da Huíla:s Hector Guedes showed great skill when he stopped Pavol Koleno:s penalty. After the first half Slovakia were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Metod Mlynar made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Metod Mlynar took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Hector Guedes to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Zigmund Maliar got a free kick in the 65th minute. Hortêncio Zamora scored 1-2 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henrich Slany, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Zigmund Maliar fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Slovakia's protests and gave Zigmund Maliar a yellow card for diving instead. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Slovakia! After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Vavrinec Koleno got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Henrich Slany stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hortêncio Zamora's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Hipólito Cruz might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henrich Slany. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hipólito Cruz ran back to his position shaking his head.
