Johannes Engman made in the 21st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Dennis Hermansson however managed to control. After 23 minutes of play, Ocean´s Eleven's Kaarel Astradsson made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 36th minute, Frank Sachs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Germany fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. When Adrian Dreifuss fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Adrian Dreifuss a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaarel Astradsson in the 55th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute of the match, Frank Sachs got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jan-Erik Hansson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The corner led Germany's Malte Schiele to fire away a dangerous shot which Jan-Erik Hansson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kaarel Astradsson in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kaarel Astradsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kaarel Astradsson ran back to his position shaking his head. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ocean´s Eleven had played much better football throughout.
