The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Amado Salazar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ignacio Atauri, 1-0. Amado Salazar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ignacio Atauri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Amado Salazar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Amado Salazar came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Viseu United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amado Salazar couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute, Desiderio Iraitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Bicicleta F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Amado Salazar came free, but Ignacio Atauri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Amado Salazar came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Viseu United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amado Salazar couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute Viseu United were awarded a corner. Valter Bentes went to the cornerflag to take it. Ignacio Atauri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Salazar in the 40th minute of the match. Adrian Txindoki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Segundo Feliu in the 42nd minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaspar Moita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Viseu United made a substitution. Ziemowit Gdowski replaced Amado Salazar. Ignacio Atauri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ziemowit Gdowski in the 66th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaspar Moita during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, Viseu United's Adrian Txindoki got control of the ball when Gilberto Lauaxeta tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Viseu United were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bicicleta F.C. for a fine match.
