Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Antal Valentin took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Katona Janos to maneuver through the defense. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Manos Makris sent off a good shot on target. Thanasis Triantis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thanasis Triantis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Christos Christou was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BPS F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. The supporters of Hungary booed when BPS F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christos Christou didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Nikos Kipouros fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BPS F.C.'s protests and gave Nikos Kipouros a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Hungary booed when BPS F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikos Kipouros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Takacs Tibor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thanasis Triantis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Hegedus Henrik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thanasis Triantis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. After 16 minutes BPS F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Antal Valentin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BPS F.C.'s Thanasis Triantis did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 19th minute of play forced BPS F.C.'s goalkeeper Thanasis Triantis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Antal Valentin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Thanasis Triantis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanasis Triantis came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Balazs Lajos. But to his dismay, Balazs Lajos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 30th minute, Major Barna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Antal Valentin got in the 33rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Thanasis Triantis handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After having played for 34 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, BPS F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Thanasis Triantis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, BPS F.C.'s Tolis Mantzios got a free kick in the 37th minute. BPS F.C.'s Thanasis Triantis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 45th minute of play. Thanasis Triantis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Major Barna's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Antal Valentin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thanasis Triantis having to make a save. After the first half Hungary were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a little luck, BPS F.C.'s Thanasis Triantis got control of the ball when Balazs Lajos tried to sneak it across the goal line. BPS F.C.'s Thanasis Triantis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 57th minute of play. Thanasis Triantis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Balazs Lajos in the 59th minute. After having played for 60 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd minute, BPS F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Antal Valentin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Thanasis Triantis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 63rd minute of play. After 65 played minutes BPS F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Stratos Goumas. Kostas Romanakoglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. Major Barna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Balazs Lajos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. BPS F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Manos Makris in the 91st minute. Manos Makris made a great header on BPS F.C.'s corner, it was just that Hungary's Fodor Daniel managed to reach the ball for a save. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
