Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Hungary's Antal Valentin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Yiyo Esperta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Major Barna took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgar Badia. Edgar Badia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Edgar Badia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Balazs Lajos in the 10th minute of the match. Edgar Badia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. PERSPOLIS's Edgar Badia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 15th minute of play. Edgar Badia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 17th minute. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. In the 25thth minute of the game Antal Valentin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PERSPOLIS's Edgar Badia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Hungary's Balazs Lajos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgar Badia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Antal Valentin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 33 minutes into the match, PERSPOLIS's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Edgar Badia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, PERSPOLIS's Honorio Carceles got a free kick in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 37th minute of play forced PERSPOLIS's goalkeeper Edgar Badia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Antal Valentin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgar Badia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Facundo Feria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. After 47 played minutes PERSPOLIS got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Carceles. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emiliano Quintero made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Facundo Feria in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edgar Badia made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. After 62 minutes of play, Hungary's Major Barna made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgar Badia was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Cipriano Ganix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgar Badia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Major Barna in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the match, PERSPOLIS's goalkeeper Edgar Badia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Balazs Lajos. Edgar Badia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 75th minute of play. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Edgar Badia made a huge save. Takacs Tibor struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Edgar Badia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. In the 82nd minute, Ekialde Nadal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PERSPOLIS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. In the 84th match minute, PERSPOLIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Carceles to maneuver through the defense. Takacs Tibor struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Edgar Badia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Badia having to interfere. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ekialde Nadal in the 94th minute of play. In the 94th minute, Ekialde Nadal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PERSPOLIS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4.
