Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) UFC Veseud's Ercan Valencia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cornel Neghină hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, UFC Veseud's Eliodor Stoica got a free kick in the 10th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to score from far away in the 11th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. David Eikelkamp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute of the match, Ercan Valencia got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arnout Reekers was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ercan Valencia in the 17th minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radu Isaicu having to interfere. In the 29th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Isaicu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radu Isaicu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ercan Valencia in the 33rd minute of play. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ercan Valencia, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. UFC Veseud's Radu Isaicu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, UFC Veseud's Marty Bettney got a free kick in the 40th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to score from far away in the 40th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A well-hit corner resulted in Egbert Nijveldt heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute, UFC Veseud's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Wim Wilmes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Radu Isaicu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Eusebiu Tunar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Radu Isaicu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, UFC Veseud's Romeo Șerbulescu got a free kick in the 64th minute. When Gijsbert ter Kruimer came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gijsbert ter Kruimer couldn't finish the play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Radu Isaicu came out and tried to block the shot, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 76th minute. UFC Veseud's Radu Isaicu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 80th minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Radu Isaicu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran back to his position shaking his head. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ercan Valencia in the 86th minute of play. Bas Tuitert hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Wim Wilmes hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
