Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Chris Nygaard started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Kauã Lago fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pombal 2003 F.C.'s protests and gave Kauã Lago a yellow card for diving instead. Kauã Lago hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, Pombal 2003 F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Gilson Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mikkel Wulff recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute Mikkel Wulff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilson Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denmark's Mikkel Wulff got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 28 minutes, Rafael Meirelles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pombal 2003 F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Meirelles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gilson Arósio came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Denmark's Chris Nygaard. But to his dismay, Chris Nygaard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Mikkel Wulff hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Yağız Davutoğlu in the 41st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Denmark's Bjarne Kirkegaard. Dito Carvalho made in the 44th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Denmark's Simon Bendtsen. Denmark's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Di Yuan Liang 47 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Di Yuan Liang was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the game Yağız Davutoğlu made a throw-in which Kauã Lago played forward. The supporters of Pombal 2003 F.C. booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertram Svenningsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Denmark defense, Di Yuan Liang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. The Denmark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Keld Paulsen should have stopped the shot. After 59 minutes of play Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Kauã Lago was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Denmark booed when Pombal 2003 F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauã Lago didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute, Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gilson Arósio. Gilson Arósio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Di Yuan Liang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chris Nygaard kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Chris Nygaard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Onur Candar got a free kick in the 91st minute. After 98 minutes Denmark's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yağız Davutoğlu who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Yağız Davutoğlu to fire away a dangerous shot which Keld Paulsen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Denmark were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
