The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Zaccheo Andolina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 7th minute of play forced Zuberbühler FC's goalkeeper Napoleon Dziedelonis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Sigfrido Auletta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Napoleon Dziedelonis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Zuberbühler FC's Napoleon Dziedelonis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 13th minute of play. Italy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sigfrido Auletta in the 14th minute. Italy's Sigfrido Auletta was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Napoleon Dziedelonis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Napoleon Dziedelonis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 16th minute of the match. After 19 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Gomberto Picozzi. Marciano Min's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Flavio Vittori firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Saul Baumer took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Flavio Vittori to make any attempt to save it. Saul Baumer scored 2-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flavio Vittori, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 27 minutes into the game, Eugenio Gabon threw the ball into play from the sideline. Italy's Siricio Liotta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Napoleon Dziedelonis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Baumer in the 32nd minute of play. Porziano Marchitelli scored 2-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Napoleon Dziedelonis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Napoleon Dziedelonis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigfrido Auletta, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zaccheo Andolina in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Napoleon Dziedelonis saved Zuberbühler FC from getting behind. 40 minutes into the match, Zuberbühler FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Napoleon Dziedelonis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Vittori made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Saul Lamberto sent off a good shot on target. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Italy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marciano Min was slow to take the kick. During this time Zuberbühler FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Zuberbühler FC's corner Florentino Lastur fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Flavio Vittori quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 46th minute of play forced Zuberbühler FC's goalkeeper Napoleon Dziedelonis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Zuberbühler FC's Iwan Sebzda was substituted for Florentino Lastur. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saul Baumer made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Iwan Sebzda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Napoleon Dziedelonis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sigfrido Auletta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Napoleon Dziedelonis made a huge save. Zuberbühler FC made a substitution. Jonathan Iruinea replaced Marciano Min. The throw-in from Eugenio Gabon in the 63rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. In the 68thth minute of the game Saul Baumer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Italy's Flavio Vittori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zuberbühler FC's Tiberiu Fința was substituted for Saul Lamberto. After 71 minutes Italy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Iwan Sebzda who took care of the corner kick. In the 74th match minute, Zuberbühler FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Altúnov to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Sigfrido Auletta from long distance, 74 minutes into the match, got Napoleon Dziedelonis's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Napoleon Dziedelonis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Napoleon Dziedelonis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zuberbühler FC's Napoleon Dziedelonis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Zuberbühler FC from getting a goal against them. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Iruinea, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. With a little luck, Zuberbühler FC's Napoleon Dziedelonis got control of the ball when Zaccheo Andolina tried to sneak it across the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Tiberiu Fința came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugenio Gabon hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Zuberbühler FC's Abelardo Nardo got a free kick in the 97th minute. The Italy players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Zuberbühler FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
