After 8 minutes of play, Salem Hotspurs FC's Johnny Ennegren made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hias Nüssli was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Johnny Ennegren capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Johnny Ennegren really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Samuele Kunz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lukas Lupidana having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Vidar Bäckman made a precise shot to the right of Hias Nüssli. Switzerland's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Timo Siegmund hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Hias Nüssli was a little too slow when Johnny Ennegren got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. In the 41st minute of the match, Adeng Pelani tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hias Nüssli saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Hias Nüssli came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Salem Hotspurs FC's Johnny Ennegren. But to his dismay, Johnny Ennegren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Salem Hotspurs FC's Johnny Ennegren was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 47th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Hias Nüssli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Salem Hotspurs FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
