The tension between the Ferrari. and the Denmark players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zygmunt Nikodemski made in the 12th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Denmark's Theis Winther. After having played for 18 minutes, Ludomir Golota managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ferrari.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ludomir Golota was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Ferrari. getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Ludomir Golota hit a great ball. The supporters of Ferrari. booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Nygaard didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Ferrari.'s goal looked a bit too open when Bertram Svenningsen came free, but Bogumil Marchewka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ferrari.'s zone, Chris Nygaard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bogumil Marchewka came out of the goal and Chris Nygaard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denmark's Chris Nygaard got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jan Biskupiak hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Bertram Svenningsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stefan Majdoch stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 51st minute of play forced Ferrari.'s goalkeeper Bogumil Marchewka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes in the game Gilbert Fabiszak did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Stefan Majdoch. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stefan Majdoch in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keld Paulsen saved Denmark from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lars Steen got free with Bogumil Marchewka in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner led Denmark's Chris Nygaard to fire away a dangerous shot which Bogumil Marchewka despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game was made by Zygmunt Nikodemski with Marcin Cieslak as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The crowd rose to their feet as Chris Nygaard kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bogumil Marchewka. That made the score 0-1 in the 64 minute of play. Lars Steen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogumil Marchewka having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stefan Majdoch in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keld Paulsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chris Nygaard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Bogumil Marchewka made a huge save. The supporters of Ferrari. booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theis Winther didn't get a good kick on the ball. Radomil Bronicki hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Bogumil Marchewka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertram Svenningsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stefan Majdoch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 96 minutes, Simon Bendtsen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Denmark and the Ferrari. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Simon Bendtsen hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The Ferrari. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Denmark were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
