In the 13th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theo Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Gust Ennemans got a free kick in the 15th minute. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Λstral Villains FC's Emil Berntzen. But to his dismay, Emil Berntzen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. With an all-out effort, Λstral Villains FC's Arnout Reekers threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Emil Berntzen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Cavalcante during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Theo Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Emil Berntzen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arnout Reekers. The goal made the score 3-0.

The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Λstral Villains FC booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kees Mooiweer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wim Wilmes in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Theo Machado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. During the 61st minute of the match Pedro Cavalcante completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Pedro Cavalcante a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Λstral Villains FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Pedro Cavalcante hit a great ball. Stian Alvær made in the 63rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jefferson de Amaral immediately put the ball in play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match.
