An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Lordi in the 33rd minute of play forced Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pontus Nordström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeca Fernandez in the 36th minute of play. Eusebio Rios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Gabriel Efraim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lobos de Carelia's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Efraim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pontus Nordström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th match minute, Lobos de Carelia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Efraim to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Lobos de Carelia's goal looked a bit too open when Witomir Pisarczyk came free, but Marcelo Barovero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 minutes, Zeca Fernandez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lobos de Carelia and the Santa Margarita players grew even worse after the yellow card. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The wind increased when Gerardo Lordi made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Witomir Pisarczyk in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Barovero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcelo Barovero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Witomir Pisarczyk's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 56th minute Zeca Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pontus Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Eduardo De Francesco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santa Margarita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lobos de Carelia the free kick. After 59 played minutes Santa Margarita got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo De Francesco. 60 minutes into the match, Santa Margarita's goalkeeper Pontus Nordström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zeca Fernandez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witomir Pisarczyk in the 62nd minute of play forced Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santa Margarita were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Lobos de Carelia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eduardo De Francesco took the corner. The corner ended in Gonzalo Orixe almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lobos de Carelia's Marcelo Barovero did a great save. The supporters of Lobos de Carelia booed when Santa Margarita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Lordi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lobos de Carelia's Amancio Cheche was substituted for Gabriel Efraim. Santa Margarita's Elmo Jaanovits was substituted for Gerardo Lordi. Santa Margarita made a substitution. In the 95th minute, Lobos de Carelia's Prospero Perico dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2.
