Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Hegedus Henrik managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Antal Valentin hit a great ball. Gilberto Fremont's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Fodor Daniel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 12th minute of play forced Fenerbahçe S.K.'s goalkeeper Kristian Martinsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Fenerbahçe S.K.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Fenerbahçe S.K.'s goalie and right to Boros Benedek. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Fenerbahçe S.K.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Major Barna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kristian Martinsson having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Major Barna in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kristian Martinsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Qiao Qi Bo in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Balazs Lajos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Martinsson having to interfere. Kristian Martinsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 37th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Major Barna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kristian Martinsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th minute Xiao Yun Jun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boros Benedek kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Vadim Izvoreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
53 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Xiao Yun Jun came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Hungary's Antal Valentin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kristian Martinsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qiao Qi Bo in the 60th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Hungary's Major Barna ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kristian Martinsson. Kristian Martinsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Takacs Tibor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Hungary booed when Fenerbahçe S.K. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octav Chificeac didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fenerbahçe S.K.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Major Barna scored to the left of an out of position Kristian Martinsson, making the score, 0-3. Szekeres Tamas hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vadim Izvoreanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Gilberto Fremont kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qiao Qi Bo, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. A nice corner shot did that Hegedus Henrik got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kristian Martinsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee felt a red card was in order, 92 minutes into the game, when Boros Benedek put in a rough tackle. 91 minutes into the game, one of Hungary:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Fodor Daniel had in the 94thth minute some difficulties stopping Vadim Izvoreanu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Fenerbahçe S.K.'s Kristian Martinsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 95th minute of play.
