Fodor Daniel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geralt Wilk, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. KS Olimpia Warszawa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geralt Wilk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geralt Wilk's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Arkadiusz Smuskiewicz hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Geralt Wilk managed to get in a good position for a shot. KS Olimpia Warszawa's supporters rose to their feet, but Geralt Wilk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Cwynar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waldemar Cwynar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 45th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antal Valentin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by KS Olimpia Warszawa's Geralt Wilk. But to his dismay, Geralt Wilk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Geralt Wilk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Walery Glapiak came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Lachezar Tetevenski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Bakos Endre got a free kick in the 69th minute. A collision led to KS Olimpia Warszawa getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Fabiano Carneiro hit a great ball. After 82 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Walery Glapiak who took care of the corner kick. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walery Glapiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Sharma Sharma ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fodor Daniel was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 90 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Takacs Tibor. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sharma Sharma, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sharma Sharma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. KS Olimpia Warszawa were victorious despite being under pressure from Hungary for much of the match.
