But to his dismay, Dong Kun Yang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 11th minute of play forced 【E ➣15 de Julio 2009's goalkeeper Marta Pressley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marta Pressley. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. Marta Pressley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marta Pressley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dong Kun Yang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. Marta Pressley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Marta Pressley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 21st minute of play. Dong Kun Yang blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. In the 25th minute Dong Kun Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dong Kun Yang might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dong Kun Yang ran back to his position shaking his head. 32 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Dong Kun Yang came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Portugal's attentive Daniel Pimentel managed to snatch the ball when Erasmo Goiano made a throw-in in the 41st minute of the game. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The corner led to 【E ➣15 de Julio 2009's Everardo Benvido getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 61st minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marta Pressley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Everardo Benvido made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Bela in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Bartolomeu Dias made a precise shot to the right of Marta Pressley. 【E ➣15 de Julio 2009's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 79th minute Hugo Bela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Bela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, 【E ➣15 de Julio 2009's goalkeeper Marta Pressley had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Graciano Coutinho. Bartolomeu Dias did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-2 to the left of a surprised Marta Pressley 89 minutes into the match. Hugo Bela charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Bela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 93 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Miranda. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. 【E ➣15 de Julio 2009 had won after a very even match.
