Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 袁崇风 in the 47th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Didi Skarsø in the 55th minute of play.
