He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Espen Steelers reached it. Here Comes the Hammer's Charles Björkqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Wüthrich in the 24th minute of play. Charles Björkqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Schmid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 31 minutes, Kurt Wüthrich managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espen Steelers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kurt Wüthrich was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Charles Björkqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Schmid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd match minute, Here Comes the Hammer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Song Hao Feng to maneuver through the defense. After taking down the ball on Espen Steelers's corner Henri Schwersenz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Charles Björkqvist quite easily take care of the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Espen Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Carlinhos Félix came free, but Nikola Portner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute of the match Here Comes the Hammer got a corner. Espen Steelers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marko Persson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Here Comes the Hammer's Marko Persson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nikola Portner in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Charles Björkqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominik Sauerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dominik Sauerberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Charles Björkqvist made a huge save. Charles Björkqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominik Sauerberg in the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Dominik Sauerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Björkqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The Espen Steelers supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Espen Steelers would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
