Elite™- FC Galácticos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alberto Alvarenga ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jerônimo da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Florinio in the 9th minute of play. In the 11thth minute of the game Atacan Rahim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Deportivo Águila's Gustavo Guimarães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22nd minute Cosme Dighero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atacan Rahim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustavo Guimarães read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Elite™- FC Galácticos's zone, Herminio Florinio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerônimo da Cunha came out of the goal and Herminio Florinio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustavo Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atacan Rahim in the 34th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, Atacan Rahim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gustavo Guimarães was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Club Deportivo Águila's Abdurrezzak Talip was substituted for Vintilă Cârneci. Club Deportivo Águila's Dário Diniz was substituted for Herminio Florinio. Jerônimo da Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dário Diniz in the 55th minute of the match. Jerônimo da Cunha came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Deportivo Águila's Dário Diniz. But to his dismay, Dário Diniz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elite™- FC Galácticos's goalkeeper Jerônimo da Cunha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Club Deportivo Águila's Manuel Reyes quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Inácio Cosme, made in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 72ndth minute of the game Dário Diniz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elite™- FC Galácticos's Jerônimo da Cunha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dário Diniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 79th match minute, Elite™- FC Galácticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Cosme to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Guimarães was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Décio Rola capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Décio Rola really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. 89 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Águila's Dário Diniz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jerônimo da Cunha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Gustavo Guimarães successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 94 minutes into the game, Dário Diniz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Jerônimo da Cunha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Club Deportivo Águila's Gustavo Guimarães got control of the ball when Silvério Vale tried to sneak it across the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
