After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Reine Gudmundsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. Thomas Runeberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Reine Gudmundsson notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Hungary's Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reine Gudmundsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brutal DeLuxe's Thomas Runeberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balazs Lajos in the 31st minute of play. Brutal DeLuxe's Klas Kollberg managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Szekeres Tamas in the 35 minute of the game. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reine Gudmundsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The corner ended in Arne Blixt almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel did a great save. Jens-Ove Ekrot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antal Valentin made a kick off. Major Barna had several of the Brutal DeLuxe's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 51 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Thomas Runeberg as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 58th minute of play forced Brutal DeLuxe's goalkeeper Thomas Runeberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Thomas Runeberg in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brutal DeLuxe's Reine Gudmundsson got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thomas Runeberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 65th minute of the match. Brutal DeLuxe's attentive Nils Lindkvist managed to snatch the ball when Szekeres Tamas made a throw-in in the 66th minute of the game. Reine Gudmundsson struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brutal DeLuxe. After some careless play in the Brutal DeLuxe defense, Hegedus Henrik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thomas Runeberg. The Brutal DeLuxe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thomas Runeberg should have stopped the shot. Tommy Björkdahl might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fodor Daniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tommy Björkdahl ran back to his position shaking his head. When Reine Gudmundsson, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 78 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Fodor Daniel was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Tommy Björkdahl took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. After 84 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Boros Benedek. After recieving a nice pass, Brutal DeLuxe's Arne Blixt tried to score from far away in the 85th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Brutal DeLuxe's Thomas Runeberg got control of the ball when Hegedus Henrik tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 88th minute. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Balazs Lajos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thomas Runeberg quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Brutal DeLuxe getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Kim Deckbergh hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Ingemar Beckman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hungary's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Brutal DeLuxe had won, even though Hungary had held more of the ball.
