Kerim Altunbaş might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kerim Altunbaş ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 6th match minute, Ciruel Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogdan Zyskowski to maneuver through the defense. Kerim Altunbaş's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Kerim Altunbaş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Kerim Altunbaş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kerim Altunbaş in the 12th minute of play. Kerim Altunbaş might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kerim Altunbaş ran back to his position shaking his head. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kerim Altunbaş in the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Faustino Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Riccardo Hofer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kerim Altunbaş went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kerim Altunbaş stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Faustino Almeida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Portugal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ciruel Team the free kick. Kerim Altunbaş blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. In the 59th minute, Felipe Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kerim Altunbaş could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Kerim Altunbaş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Kerim Altunbaş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 65 minutes into the game, Kerim Altunbaş cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Wilson Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 71st minute, Kerim Altunbaş ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Ciruel Team made a substitution. Aipytos Vardoulakis replaced Domenico Echavarri. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kerim Altunbaş got free with Wilson Amorim in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kerim Altunbaş could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ciruel Team's goalkeeper Riccardo Hofer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Riccardo Hofer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias in the 80th minute of play. Wilson Amorim was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kerim Altunbaş showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-5 in the 83 minute of play. Ciruel Team's Marino Bregenzer was substituted for Luar Carballeira. 88 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kerim Altunbaş.
