With a little luck, Denmark's Keld Paulsen got control of the ball when Durvalino Penha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabinho Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Denmark's Chris Nygaard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Fabiano Arantes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luiz Fabiano Arantes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chris Nygaard went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredo Bastos to make the kick off. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Chris Nygaard hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luiz Fabiano Arantes was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. After 56 played minutes Leripe Lifestyle got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Abraão. 59 minutes into the match, Leripe Lifestyle's goalkeeper Luiz Fabiano Arantes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chris Nygaard. Chris Nygaard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Luiz Fabiano Arantes made a huge save. Denmark's attentive Lars Steen managed to snatch the ball when Elpidio Mendebal made a throw-in in the 70th minute of the game. In the 71st minute, Wilson Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Fabiano Arantes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chris Nygaard's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. The supporters of Leripe Lifestyle booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Ludvigsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilson Dias in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Denmark's Chris Nygaard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Fabiano Arantes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Fabiano Arantes prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
